CQMS 2017

We attended the CQMS / Construction, Quarry & Mining Show 2017 based in Ireland and in our opinion it was a great success. They estimated 8,000 people attended and 200 companies exhibited. We saw exhibitors from most well known Brands such as Kubota, Caterpillar, Cummins, Kobelco, Komatsu and Doosan amongst others. Again we were able to meet up with a few of our Local suppliers and talk about how we can continue to find solutions for their businesses and ensure the ongoing connection with new customers worldwide. Its great to actually meet our suppliers face to face and discuss the future of their business and exciting new projects.

Mary-Jane was able to meet a longstanding Supplier, Aidan Long of Eamon Long & Co - who operate out of their warehouse and offices in Cork, Southern Ireland. Specialising in Wear Parts for Earthmoving Machinery, such as Undercarriage, Final Drives, Tracks, Tyres and Buckets to name but a few. Aidan told us that they have met lots of new customers and made many recent & historic sales through UrParts. Aidan advised they incorporate UrParts into their day to day business, it’s another option to dip into and quote new Buyers for Parts. Aidan is very knowledgeable about the industry and has been in the Family Business for most of his life.

Also in attendance in Tullamore were Astrak Group a well known undercarriage specialist supplier with many locations around the UK & Europe.

We had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Howard, Harley & Desi (pictured).  They have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Undercarriage, Final Drives & G.E.T parts. Astrak have been in business since 2003. UrParts users have benefited greatly from our association with this company and long may it continue.
